Workshop - Team Development
Unlocking
Team Potential
From Self-Awareness to Effective Communication
Are the people on your team truly working with each other or just alongside each other?
In most teams, feedback goes unspoken. Needs go unmet. And when something is said, it doesn't always land the way it was meant. Over time, this communication gap quietly erodes connection, increases stress, and undermines both performance and well-being.
A high-performing team doesn't just communicate clearly, it communicates honestly, openly, and with genuine understanding.
Communication starts below the surface.
When communication works, performance follows. Research shows that teams with effective communication can achieve up to 3.5× higher performance than their competitors (Towers Watson Communication ROI Study).
Think of a tree.
What we see is the canopy: growth, strength, resilience, and results. But none of that exists without what happens underground.
A tree thrives because of its root system. Each root absorbs resources and exchanges signals through an invisible network of connections, allowing the entire tree to grow as one. The healthier those connections, the stronger the trunk and the richer the canopy.
Teams work the same way.
Every individual brings knowledge, skills, and energy into the organisation. But performance is not simply the sum of individual talent, it depends on how effectively those people connect, communicate, and support one another.
When those connections weaken, information stops flowing, misunderstandings increase, trust erodes, and performance inevitably suffers.
This workshop works at the root level.
Not symptoms, causes. It goes beneath the surface to identify why communication breaks down, and helps each team member recognise the personal blocks that keep the whole group stuck.
Co-created and facilitated with the clinical psychologist Ilaria Vergari, and the coach and speech therapist Rossella Caruso, the workshop combines psychological depth with experiential learning: creative visualisation, structured reflection, guided feedback, and small group activities where participants embody and confront their own blocks — learning, together, how to move past them.
Participants leave with:
-
Stronger empathy, trust, and team cohesion
-
Greater ability to navigate conflict and difficult conversations
-
Deeper active listening skills and presence in dialogue
-
Increased satisfaction, individually and collectively, in how they work together
Format: In-person
Duration: 3–4 hours (adaptable to your team's needs)
